Originating back to Asia thousands of years ago, kombucha is now a trendy drink consumed by many for its supposed health benefits. This tangy fermented drink is brewed commercially by many companies and safely home-brewed by many, too.
During this workshop, you’ll learn some history of kombucha, how to home-brew your own kombucha, rules and tips, and go home with some started liquid and your very own SCOBY. Bring a friend to sip some kombucha while learning how to brew your own!
This workshop will be facilitated by Christina Threloff, owner and sewist behind My Lovely Muse. She has been brewing her own kombucha at home for 10 years.
