Combating Covid Together

My Lovely Muse, alongside many other West Michigan small businesses, is working hard to help our community during this global pandemic. We are doing our part by making as many masks as we can and donating them to essential workers (medical staff, teachers, grocery store workers, etc) and peaceful protestors to keep our community protected. Through your donation, you will be helping us help others who are in need NOW.

Our appreciation and love is with our community doing important work during this time. We are so happy to be able to give back to them when they need it most. At times the demands for masks are high, but we are fulfilling those needs as quickly as we possibly can.

  • If you’d like to make a donation to help fund our mask making production, please click the DONATE button below..

  • If you have a donation in the form of fabric, elastic, thread, etc, please contact us.

We have donated masks to Spectrum Health facilities in West Michigan, Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, BLM peaceful protestors in West Michigan, and many other essential workers all across the country including New Jersey, North Dakota, Utah, Tennessee, Connecticut, and more. Thank you so much for those who have supported the making of these masks financially, through physical donations, or even just passing along our mission to others who could help. We wouldn’t have made as big as an impact as we have without you!

All of your support is appreciated!
We can work together to help stop the spread!

DISCLAIMER:

Handmade cotton face masks should NOT be used as a replacement for conventional and approved Personal Protective Equipment. It is a contingency plan for those who don’t have medical surgical masks available to them. Proper use of PPE is still the best way to prevent virus infection. The decision to use the handmade masks is solely your own.

DISCLAIMER (taken from CDC site):

In settings where face masks are not available, HCP might use homemade masks (e.g. Bandana, scarf) for care of patients with COVID-19 as a last resort. However, homemade masks are not considered PPE, since their capability to protect HCP is unknown. Caution should be exercised when considering this option. Homemade masks should ideally be used in combination with a face shield that covers the entire front (that extends to the chin or below) and sides of the face.
