A No-Waste Wrapping Workshop: Furoshiki and Sustainable Living

  • Lowell KDL - Englehardt Branch 200 North Monroe Street Lowell, MI, 49331 United States (map)

The Lowell Showboat Garden Club PRESENTs a special workshop opportunity!

Purposeful Presents: A No-waste Wrapping Workshop

Spread cheer — not waste! Most gift wrap ends up in landfills — but it doesn’t have to. Bring a small gift box, and discover how to wrap with purpose for the planet, your wallet, and the people you love.

Together we'll explore:

~Furoshiki (fabric gift wrapping) techniques
~Stylish alternatives to commercial gift wrap
~How to repurpose items you aren’t using into thoughtful eco-wrap
~Why more than half of commercial gift wrap can not be recycled

Join us at the Kent District Library - Englehardt/Lowell Branch on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 1 p.m. The workshop is free and open to the public.
