Do you have garments that need repairing? We can help you! Do you know how to mend and are interested in a community time with our talented mending circle? Join us and help us help others! Mending helps us take eco-steps toward sustainability by minimizing clothing waste, as well as unnecessary spending on new garments . Plus, it’s fun to learn and do!
Every second Saturday of the month from 10am-2pm. Open studio and Knitting and Needle Art Club happening at the same time, so feel free to bring your kids to participate in open studio while you participate in our needle-fest!
Christina will not be present at this month’s mending circle.
Feel free to bring food and drink to enjoy while we relax and mend. An assortment of tools and notions will be available for use including speedweve looms, sashiko thread, cotton darning thread, all purpose sewing thread, a variety of needles, darning mushrooms, embroidery hoops, pins, clips, and more. Feel free to bring your own sewing kit if you’d like.
Donations are appreciated to replenish our notions and for sharing our skill and time.
