Bread Storage Beeswax Wraps

Bread Storage Beeswax Wraps

$20.00

If you’re looking to get rid of plastic wrap from your kitchen, look no further. Use our beeswax wraps anyway you’d use plastic wrap (except in the oven or microwave). These wax wraps are large enough to fit around a loaf of bread (approximately 10” loaf). You can turn the sides in to make a pocket to help secure the wrap around the bread better. The antimicrobial properties of the beeswax and pine resin help to keep your bread lasting a bit longer than if it were stored in plastic. If you find this wrap is too large for your needs, you can cut it down to size. This is a great way to relieve our landfills of unnecessary plastic waste - and take one extra thing off your grocery list for good!

SIZE:
These bread size wax wraps are approximately 15” x 25” in size.

CARE:
Use cool water and dish soap to wash your wax wrap of any food debris left on the wrap after use. Store in a room temperature drawer.

NOTE:
Hot water/temperatures will cause the wax to melt off the wrap and make it unusable without refreshing.

If you’re looking to get rid of plastic wrap from your kitchen, look no further. Use our beeswax wraps anyway you’d use plastic wrap (except in the oven or microwave). Wrap a bowl of leftovers (up to 11” in diameter) or half a watermelon with the large size, a medium size to cover a bowl of cookie dough (up to 9” in diameter), or use the small size to wrap half an onion, toss your trail mix in for the day, or cover your kids bowl (up to 7” in diameter) of leftover pasta. This is a great way to relieve our landfills of unnecessary plastic waste - and take one extra thing off your grocery list for good!

Our beeswax wraps are made with cotton fabric, local beeswax, sustainably harvested resin, and organic jojoba oil. I am exploring the options to offer a vegan reusable wrap alternative for those who avoid any animal products.

ROUND SIZES
(Approximate sizes. Exact sizes vary.)
Small: 8” diameter
Medium: 10” diameter
Large: 12” diameter

NOTE: If you find you bought a wrap that was too big, just cut it to the size you need! You can reuse the remains, or compost what you don’t need.

USE:
This wrap will soften by the warmth of your hands. When it cools, it will stay put.

CARE:
Wash in cool water with a mild dish soap. Warm water or heat will cause the wrap to melt. Air dry, fold, and store.

END OF LIFE:
Re-dip to freshen wax. When your wrap has reached the end of its useful life, cut it into strips and add it to the compost (as long as it is made of 100% cotton - polyester, polyester blends, or other synthetics will not decompose).
